Scheduling Rules
Add the Hours Commitment field to the Employee Self-Schedule Rules screen. Managers, and above, can now manage all employee scheduling settings on one screen, and the changes sync with the Staff Management screen.
- From the top menu, select Staff > Scheduling Rules. The new Hours Commitment field displays as a column to the right of the FTE column.

- Select the checkbox next to one or more staff members and select the Edit button. The Edit Scheduling Rules pane displays on the right side of the screen.
- Edit the value in the Hours Commitment field or check the Clear Hours Commitment checkbox to clear the values for the selected staff members.
- Select the Save button and the data grid refreshes.

- From the top menu, select Staff > Staff Management.
- Locate the staff members selected in step 2 and verify the Hours Commitment column displays the value saved on the Scheduling Rules screen.
NOTE: By default, the Hours Commitment column displays to the right of the EmployeeType column on the Staff Management screen. to move the column, drag and drop the column header to the desired location. |

Release Notes Banner
Users now have the option to hide the Release Notes banners. The banners are created by Superusers on the Manage Release Notes screen and now display an ellipsis button instead of an X on the right side.
- Select the ellipsis button.
- Select the desired option from the drop-down menu:
- Don’t show this message again option will hide the release note for the user permanently.
- Dismiss message until next login will hide the release note until the user logs back into ShiftWizard again.

Let's get started!
- From the top menu, select Staff > Search Staff.

- Select a staff member from the list to open their Staff Profile page.
|
| |

- Select the Department Assignments tab.
|

- Select the blue + (plus) button in the action column and choose from an unassigned permission.
NOTE: Selecting the blue + (plus) button adds a permission and selecting the red X removes a permission. |
