Notification Center
The red count badge typically seen on the Notification Center (bell) button now appears only when a user has notifications. This reduces visual clutter and makes new alerts stand out. |

Shift Types
Resolved the issue where the Category column wasn’t displaying on the Shift Types screen for users with a Manager access level. To view, select Templates > Schedule Items > Shift Types. |

Position Titles
Resolved the issue where Position titles displayed the ampersand code (&) in place of the ampersand symbol (&). To view, navigate to one of the following screens:
- Staff > Search Staff
- Staff > Department Templates
- Reports > Enterprise Reports > select the Filters button > select the Staff Management category > select the Active Users report > select the Apply button

ShiftWizard Tips: M Shifts
Learn how to use M Shifts or Miscellaneous Shifts. |

| |
M Shifts — short for Miscellaneous Shifts — are automatically created when a shift is split or edited. This tip covers new functionality that lets you limit how many M Shifts can be created per day and rename future M Shifts for easier recognition.
Limit the Number of Daily M Shifts
(Requires Superuser access)
- Select Superuser > System Settings > Departments.

- Select the desired department.
- Select the pencil icon to edit.
- In the Edit Form pop up, scroll to Daily M Shift Limit.
- Enter the maximum number of M Shifts allowed per day.
- Select Save.

Rename Future M Shifts
(Requires Superuser access
To make future M Shifts more intuitive, you can enable the Miscellaneous Shift Rename enterprise setting. This renames upcoming M Shifts using a format based on start time and length.
EXAMPLE: A shift starting at 7:30 AM and lasting 5 hours 45 minutes appears as: 0730-05h45m. |
