    American Red Cross Resuscitation Suite
    Expected Next Week: BLS/ALS/PALS Instructor Update Assignments
    We expect to release the updated 2025 versions of BLS, ALS, PALS provider courses on February 3, 2026. Every instructor is required to complete the Instructor Update course for their discipline before performing skills checks for students taking these 2025 courses. 

    All current instructors/instructor trainers with HealthStream Learning Center (HLC) student accounts will be assigned the applicable Update course by early next week. If needed, an HLC administrator can also assign the instructor update courses:

    • BLS Instructor Trainer Update
    • ALS Instructor Update
    • ALS Instructor Trainer Update
    • PALS Instructor Update
    • PALS Instructor Trainer Update
     
    Live: New Resuscitation Reporting Dashboard 
    We recently updated your reporting dashboard to a new platform that brings enhanced performance and improved stability! The layout and information you rely on remains familiar, but behind the scenes, we’re setting the foundation for several key enhancements to come later this year. NOTE: Your existing Resuscitation Dashboard will remain available as we all transition to this upgraded platform.
     
    Live: 2025 First Aid/CPR/AED Course Versions 
    If you contract for the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED content, the updated 2025 course versions have been available for assignment since December 18, 2025. NOTE:
    • Instructors: Before performing skills checks for students taking the 2025 courses, you must complete the applicable FA/CPR/AED Instructor Update course*. All current instructors/instructor trainers with HealthStream Learning Center (HLC) student accounts were assigned the applicable Update course on December 22, 2025. If needed, an HLC administrator can also assign either course.

    • New Assignments & Enrollments: When creating future assignments, you’ll automatically select the current 2025 course versions*. For pre-existing assignments, learners that have not accessed the content yet will automatically receive the updated 2025 course versions when they begin.

      * Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED
      * Adult CPR/AED
      * Adult First Aid/CPR/AED
      * American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Bridge Course
       
    • In-Progress Learners: Any learners that were in progress with these courses prior to our December 18 release must complete by August 31, 2026.
