Live: Updated Admin View of “Resuscitation Credentials”
When viewing the student profile (People > Manage Students) and selecting “Resuscitation Credentials,” administrators now have additional options to more easily view active, expired, and/or retired credentials – review here. Key changes include:
    • Expired credentials are visible by default with their expired date highlighted in red text. As desired, use the “Hide Expired Credentials” option.
    • Retired credentials are hidden by default. As desired, use the “Show Retired Credentials” option.
    • In addition to “(Retired)” being auto-added to the end of any retired credential’s name, a new “Retired” column can further assist with easily identifying these credentials.

Updated Courses & Resources Aligned to 2025 CoSTR
The International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) will release the 2025 Consensus on Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) later this month. You'll receive a webinar invite late next week to learn more at our panel discussion on October 29.

These 2025 updates will impact BLS, ALS, PALS, and First Aid guidelines, reflecting the latest global consensus on resuscitation science—developed in collaboration with leading organizations including the European Resuscitation Council, American Heart Association, and the American Red Cross. To align with these updates, the American Red Cross—guided by its Scientific Advisory Council, which participates in ILCOR—will be updating its resuscitation programs across all domains, including CPR/AED and First Aid, to reflect the most current, evidence-based standards.

We’ll continue providing updates as we work toward releasing the new 2025 courses. For planning purposes, please note we expect to release refreshed instructor updates this December, followed by new course versions in early 2026 – learn more here:
