Live: “NPSG Basics” Updated to “NPG Basics”

The Joint Commission updated its accreditation framework for 2026, transitioning from the long-standing National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs) to new National Performance Goals (NPGs). These changes reflect a broader shift toward performance-based measurement, continuous improvement, and organization-wide accountability (learn more). In January, we updated our SQ: National Patient Safety Goal (NPSG), Basics course, including a title change to SQ: National Performance Goals (NPGs), Basics. All new assignments/enrollments will automatically receive the updated version. Any learners in progress with the “NPSG Basics” version must complete by December 31, 2026.
