    Workforce Validate

    Live: Resuscitation Verification Enhancement
If you contract to verify Certifications via Workforce Validate, we’re now leveraging applicable employees’ hStream IDs to show their resuscitation credentials (RQIP-AHA, American Red Cross, etc.) as verified through the HealthStream Learning Center (HLC) when those certifications are completed in the HLC. This update resolves a complication with RQIP-AHA certifications that previously could not be verified via the AHA search lookup because a certification number was not included. View additional resources in Community and register for our upcoming open office hours to ask questions.

*If you currently pay a vendor or spend hours manually verifying and monitoring your staff’s licenses, complete this form to enable our complimentary license verification service.

    SafetyQ

Live & Expected Next Month: “Regulatory Wizard” Enhancements
In late June, we released the “Regulatory Course Wizard” to guide administrators through creating a curated training curriculum for various audiences, like Clinical, Medication Dispensing; Non-Clinical, Patient-Facing; Physicians & Practitioners; etc. To get started, select Courses tab > Regulatory Course Wizard (under Curriculum Management).

After populating a set of simple dropdown fields (review here), the Wizard presents HealthStream’s recommended curriculum to meet applicable regulatory requirements from CMS, OSHA, HHS, and the EEOC. Basic regulation details are also shown with the ability to easily print/export.

From this recommendations screen, you previously moved into creating and saving the curriculum before you could add or delete any courses. Late last week we streamlined this process, so you can immediately exclude/deselect any courses before creating your initial curriculum. Administrators will still need to create and save the curriculum before you can begin adding any courses. NOTE: Remember, the Wizard may include courseware from SafetyQ and ComplyQ in its recommendation. Any courses not included in your current contract will be highlighted (review here).

In October, we expect to further enhance the Wizard’s initial recommendations screen by including links to view the storyboards for all listed courses. Please keep in mind:
    1. To view storyboards, you must have access to SafetyQ Exclusive Content. If you do not, you must be assigned/complete this course: Community Access to SafetyQ Exclusive Content (FOR ADMINISTRATOR USE ONLY)
    2. You cannot view the storyboards for recommended courses that are not included in your contract.

Expected Next Month: New Content & State-Specific Training (CA, CT, DE, FL, NJ, WA)
If you contract for SafetyQ, in early October you’ll see several new courses available for assignment (below)! As needed, review the full SafetyQ course listing. NOTE: We’re making a few changes related to our courseware designed to meet city- and state-level requirements:
    1. These courses will no longer include a care setting in the name (Acute, Behavioral, Hospice, etc.) as they are intended/appropriate for all care settings.
    2. Each course will begin with “SQ State:” for improved searchability.
    3. To also assist with searchability, we’re adding a category: HealthStream Collections > HSTM - HealthStream SafetyQ > _SafetyQ: State.
Content Meets Requirements for Multiple States
    • SQ State: Care of Individuals with Dementia
