Workforce Validate
Live: Resuscitation Verification Enhancement
If you contract to verify Certifications via
Workforce Validate
, we’re now leveraging applicable employees’ hStream IDs to show their resuscitation credentials (RQIP-AHA, American Red Cross, etc.) as verified through the HealthStream Learning Center (HLC) when those certifications are completed in the HLC. This update resolves a complication with RQIP-AHA certifications that previously could not be verified via the AHA search lookup because a certification number was not included. View additional resources in
Community
and register for our upcoming open office hours to ask questions.

If you currently pay a vendor or spend hours manually verifying and monitoring your staff’s licenses,
complete this form
to enable our complimentary license verification service.
SafetyQ
Live: Customizable Training Plans with Citation Mapping
In late June, we released the
“Regulatory Course Wizard”
to guide administrators through creating a curated curriculum that also provides basic details on the regulations those recommended courses meet. Before assigning the curriculum, you can add/delete courses as well as choose whether or not to allow learners to “test out” of included courses via pre-assessments (PA).
To get started, select Courses > Regulatory Course Wizard (under Curriculum Management), and enter your preferences for the set of simple dropdown fields (
review here
). You'll then be presented with HealthStream’s recommended curriculum to meet applicable regulatory requirements. In addition, please note:
You need this administrator role: Program Administrator – Safety & Compliance.
Recommended curriculums may include courseware from SafetyQ and ComplyQ. Any courses not included in your current contract will be highlighted –
review here
.
Initially, regulation details will reference CMS, OSHA, HHS, and the EEOC. The Joint Commission will be referenced only for National Patient Safety Goals (NPSG).
This new workflow is optional.
All pre-existing options (Learning Plans, your own curriculum, individual course assignments, etc.) remain available.
