    Updated Contact Info for Customer Support
    In upgrading our support systems, we now have a new Customer Support phone number, 1-877-301-HSTM (4786), and updated URL for our Portal: 
    NOTE: Our previous number (1-800-521-0574) will continue to work as we all make this transition. However, if you previously bookmarked our Portal URL, please update it.

    HLC: HealthStream Learning Center
    Live: Change to “Manage Password” for Students
    If your organization allows students to edit/update their own HealthStream password, we recently updated how the “Manage Password” screen is accessed – review here. This change is in preparation for future updates that will allow students to more easily view and update their hStream ID and password. NOTE: If you do not allow students to edit/update their HealthStream password, the “Manage Password” option will continue to be unavailable/not visible. 
     
    Live: Associate Smart Notes with Multiple Courses
    Administrators now have the option to choose multiple courses (up to 25) when creating or editing a Smart Note. When updating a Smart Note associated with multiple courses, any edits will be reflected across all courses. 
     
    Expected This Fall: Insights Reporting Enhancements 
    As we look ahead to wrapping up our rollout of Insights reporting to all HLC administrators this summer, we wanted to ensure our current Insights users are aware of a few key enhancements:
    • Live: Additional Custom Report Datasets (review here) – When building your own custom reports, you now have Student Certification and License data in addition to Assignment, Assignment Progress, and Student metadata. 
    • Expected This Fall: Streamlined Report Scheduling/Viewing – Users will no longer be required to have Insights administrator access in order to receive/view an Insights report. 
    • Expected This Fall: New “Hierarchy Selector” – Users with a hierarchy (multiple regions/facilities/nodes) will be able to select any level within their organization and then run reports at that level.
    • Expected This Fall: Additional Standard Reports – We hope you’re enjoying the Assignment Progress report and are familiarizing yourself with all the benefits of Insights, like more timely data (refreshes every 3 hours) and easily adding/removing data columns from your results. Later this year, we’ll begin adding more Learning-related standard reports!
    If you haven’t received access to Insights yet, once enabled, Enterprise and hStream Administrators will see pop-up messaging on the Reports tab (review here). From this pop-up, we highly recommend visiting our support site for getting started guidance, including assigning the "Insights Administrator Role" to colleagues at your discretion. All users are also encouraged to take advantage of our on-demand & upcoming training webinars. NOTE: Once a report is available in Insights, its equivalent(s) on your Reports tab will be retired after 12 months. Ex: Insights’ first report, the Assignment Progress report, will eventually replace:  
    • Assignment Completion – Schedulable
    • Assignment Completion - Drill-Through
    • Delinquent/Past Due - Drill-Through
    • Delinquent/Past Due – Schedulable
    • Student Assignment Completion
    • Enterprise Assignment Completion
