CredentialStream for Groups Tip: ADA Importing

Learn how to use CAQH Import to import dental providers into CredentialStream for Groups.

Add American Dental Association (ADA) login credentials and then use CAQH Import to upload your dental providers into CredentialStream for Groups the same way you import providers with other specialties.

NOTE: The import process is the same for providers and dental providers, the CAQH credentials allows for access to the provider or ADA providers sections of CAQH.

Let's get started!

Select Providers > +Create button > +CAQH Import.

Add the username and password.
Set the ADA Credentials? toggle to on.
Select the Continue button.

After initiating the import, the record areas imported from ADA profile are displayed. Record areas with exceptions are designated with a red circle with the number of exceptions.

Correct the data for the required fields, marked by red exceptions, to enable the Import button. These required fields include institution names, licensing entity names, and identifying data for the provider.

vSource data or client defined fields that are marked by yellow exceptions should be corrected but are not required for the import. If the data is an exact match to the vSource data, it will be prepopulated but can be changed as needed.

As the exceptions are resolved, the numbered circles are removed.
Hover over the exception to view the ADA original value tooltip as a reference.

After the red exceptions have been corrected, select the Import button to submit the data and create the provider profile.

When the import is complete, add or edit the provider profile data as needed.

NOTE: CAQH Import will save your progress unless you refresh your browser or log out. To return to the import from another screen, go to the provider screen > +Create button > CAQH Import > ADA Credentials. This import tool can be used to create new providers and update existing provider data.
