International Day of Women and Girls in Science
Celebrate the achievements and contributions of women and girls in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) on February 11th. International Day of Women and Girls in Science is a day dedicated to encouraging more women and girls to pursue careers in science and technology.
This date honors the birthday of Marie Curie, a pioneering physicist and chemist who made groundbreaking contributions to the fields of radioactivity and nuclear physics.

National Women Physicians Day
February 3rd marks the birthday of Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to receive a medical degree in the United States in 1849. The day celebrates the courage of Elizabeth Blackwell and the accomplishments of female physicians everywhere.

CredentialStream for Groups Tip: Portfolio Import Redesign
Learn how to create a provider profile from validated sources. |
|

|
|
| |
Use the Portfolio Import to create the provider profile using data from an internal validated source and public sites such as the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB). Then preview the data you are importing to add to it or omit data from the import.
Let's get started!
- Select Providers > +Create > Portfolio Import or select Import > Portfolio Import.
- Select the +Import button.

- Enter the NPI number for the provider to be imported.
- Select the Find Provider button.
|
| |
|
|
| |
- Once the provider is located, the data is displayed in the Portfolio Import screen. Record areas with exceptions show a red or yellow notification badge with the number of exceptions.
|

|
|
| |
| |
- The red exceptions must be corrected before the Import button is enabled. These include institutions, licensing entity names, and identifying data for the provider.
|
| |
|
|
| |
| |
- The yellow exceptions should be addressed but are not required for the import. Yellow exceptions show conflicts with vSource data and client defined fields. If the data is an exact match to the vSource data, the data will be prepopulated, but it can be changed as needed.
|

|
|
| |
| |
- The count on the notification badges adjusts as exceptions are resolved. Hover over the exception to display the Portfolio original value tooltip as a reference.
|

|
|
| |
| |
- When the required red exceptions have been corrected, select the Save Progress button.
|
| |
|
|
| |
| |
- Then select the Import button to submit the data and create the provider profile.
|
| |
|
|
| |
| |
- When the import is completed, the newly created provider profile displays.
|
| |
|
|
| |
| |
| NOTE: Saved imports that have not yet been imported are accessible on the Portfolio Import screen so they can be imported at another time. |
