International Day of Women and Girls in Science
Celebrate the achievements and contributions of women and girls in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) on February 11th. International Day of Women and Girls in Science is a day dedicated to encouraging more women and girls to pursue careers in science and technology.

February 3rd marks the birthday of Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to receive a medical degree in the United States in 1849. The day celebrates the courage of Elizabeth Blackwell and the accomplishments of female physicians everywhere.

Stay Informed: How CredentialStream Notifies You About System Issues
We know timely communication matters—especially when system issues or unexpected maintenance occur. CredentialStream provides important email notifications to keep you informed about service disruptions, off-cycle maintenance, and other critical updates as they happen.
To receive these alerts, make sure email notifications are enabled for you or your user group.
What You’ll Receive
When enabled, you’ll get emails about:
- System outages
- Off-cycle or emergency maintenance
- Other time-sensitive CredentialStream alerts
These emails are sent from no-reply@healthstream.com. While you can’t reply directly to the email, each message includes guidance on how to contact our Support team if you have questions or need help.
How to enable email notifications:
- From the top menu, select Set up > System > User / Group.
- Select a user or group.
- Then select User Info.
- Select the Advanced Options button.
- Scroll to the Other section and select the Enable email notifications to stay updated with time-sensitive alerts, and personalized updates from CredentialStream checkbox.
- Select Save.
Turning this on ensures you’re not caught off guard and helps us keep communications clear when things don’t go exactly as planned. |

CredentialStream Tip: Set Location Status to a Future Status

Let’s say you know a provider is soon terming at an office / location where they are working. To help you remember to change his access, you could either set yourself a reminder to update the status value from active to inactive when this change occurs, or you can utilize the Set Future Status function in CredentialStream.
Let's get started:
- Search for and select the provider.
- In the provider's the Office / Location record, select the office / location.
- Enter the future term date in the Termination Date field.

- After entering the date, enter the future status in the pop-up window.
- Select the Set button.
|
|
|
| |
- Select Yes to receive an alert when that status is updated.
|
|
|
| |
- A message displays next to the Termination Date field indicating how many days until the status updates to the value you set. This message will be viewable for all users who access this record.
- Select the Save button.
